Excitement mounts as the Japanese gaming demi-gods reveal their showcases.
Last week Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed III, Far Cry 3, Just Dance 4 and Rocksmith would all be shown and playable at this year’s Eurogamer Expo in September. It’s now Capcom’s turn.
- Resident Evil 6 – The highly anticipated horror franchise returns and will be fully playable on the show floor.
- Devil May Cry – One of Capcom’s best-loved franchise has received a reboot and is being displayed four months before it’s scheduled release in January.
- Lost Planet 3 – The frozen wasteland makes a shivering return to consoles and will be playable on the show floor.
Tom Bramwell, the Eurogamer Network Operations Director said:
“We’re thrilled to be offering people the opportunity to play three more massive games before release. Resident Evil 6 should be one of 2012?s games of the year, and Lost Planet 3 and DmC both look spectacular. The Eurogamer Expo will be our biggest ever show with more exclusives than ever.”
We’re only at the tip of the iceberg with the announcements! So far we’ve only really had Capcom and Ubisoft. We’re still waiting to hear from plenty of the other big developers.
If you haven’t already – go and get your tickets! We look forward to seeing you there.
