Microsoft have launched a range of Xbox Live gift cards to replace the old Microsoft Points system that was retired in the last dashboard update.
The cards ranging from £10 – £50 are available to purchase now on online retailer ShopTo, the retailer are also selling the cards with a decent discount too, however we don’t imagine the discount will be running for too long.
The switch to real currency was announced back at Microsoft’s E3 conference, and was recently implemented in the August Xbox 360 dashboard update. You can still use Microsoft point cards for the time being as they are currently being converted into local currency when redeemed. When Microsoft pulls the plug completely on points is yet to be known.
